Are you ready to build the future in architecture and engineering?
At Hennepin Tech, you can train for a career in Architectural Drafting and Design in a way that fits your schedule. You can complete courses 100% online, 100% in the classroom, or in a blended/hybrid environment. Course schedules are available full or part-time.
Students will learn how to create drawings and 3D renderings using computer software. They will also learn how to use Autodesk Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology used in construction projects and landscape design.
Skills gained in the program include knowledge of energy efficiency, building materials, and building codes. Additionally, you’ll learn engineering principles, estimating, and professional practices.
Students seeking a two-year degree in architectural technology are interested in architectural design, construction technology, interior design, or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree transfer options are available for students with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree from Hennepin Tech.
