Safe and Respectful Campus
The Federal Sexual Assault and Violence Prevention (SAVE) Act requires all students receive training about sexual assault and violence prevention laws, more specifically, Hennepin Tech policies and procedures.
Sexual assault can happen to you regardless of your gender, race, age, class, or sexual orientation. No one is entitled to another person's body, even if the person is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. At Hennepin Technical College, only YES means YES.
As a new student, you are automatically enrolled in the Sexual Violence Prevention modules on D2L Brightspace. Please take the time to complete the training so you are knowledgeable about the law, policies, and procedures that continue to make Hennepin Tech a welcoming and safe place for all. If you have completed this training at another Minnesota State institution, you may disregard the training modules.
