Culinary Arts Student Hosts Veterans Day Event to Honor Fellow Service Members

With support from Hennepin Tech’s Campus Yellow Ribbon Committee, Reiman used her growing expertise in baking and pastry to create an inviting space in the Student Commons, where students and staff will have the opportunity to enjoy handmade treats and show their gratitude veterans.

The Food Pantry, a cross-campus collaborative effort, is the result of a project that began over the summer. Aimed at providing sustainable, accessible, and intentional food assistance for students, the pantry is set to offer a consistent source of groceries and other food items.
