Week 1: New Student Welcome Days
New Student Welcome Days are optional days held prior to semester start. During these days students will learn where things are, how to access and use D2L, eServices, and the Campus Store — for a successful and meaningful start to college life at Hennepin Technical College. These events are open to all incoming students-no pre-registration is needed. We look forward to seeing you there!

- Set up your myHennepinTech email
- Login to eServices and get familiar with your schedule
- Login to D2L Brightspace
- Complete a free Online Learning Workshop! Follow these Instructions on how to self-register.
- Find your books
- Plan your transportation
Your First Two Weeks
- Attend Welcome Week
- Get involved! Discover extra curricular activties through the Student Life Department
- Complete D2L Brightspace Basic Training Boot Camp offered by the Tutoring Centers
- Go through D2L and check the sections your instructors use
