New training devices for nurses
Brooklyn Park, Aug. 14, 2022 – Nursing students need to practice giving injections and drawing blood. Who wants to volunteer to be the “patient”?
Now, there’s no need for volunteers because Hennepin Tech nursing students are using new, interactive training devices. Students may repeatedly practice more than a dozen skills and the devices are a convenient, portable size. That means, students may take the devices home for additional practice and mastery of new skills.
Recently, CCX Media interviewed students and faculty about the device known as the Laerdal Modular Skills Trainer. Watch the report.
