Family Education Rights and Privacy ACT (FERPA)
- A Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. Review this law and other data privacy policies in the student handbook online.

Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy
In order to be in good standing, students must maintain the following:
- Overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0. This means at least a "C" average
- Overall Completion Rate of at least 66.67%. This means that of all the credits you take, you must complete 66.67%. W, F, NC, FN, and I grades count negatively towards completion rate.
Students who fail to meet the satisfactory academic requirements after one term will be on an Academic Warning. Failure to complete the requirements while on Academic Warning will result in the student receiving an Academic Suspension.
Attendance
Instructors may enter a last date of attendance (LDA) or a “no show” if you aren’t attending courses
- Students receiving an LDA have an “FN or FW” entered for their grade
- Students with an LDA are locked out of their D2L account
- Students marked with an LDA are unable to drop/withdraw online from their e-Services account
- Students may lose or have to pay back a portion of their financial aid for any LDA courses
