Make a Gift
Higher education provides opportunities for learning and innovation, which benefits both Hennepin Technical College students and society. In an age of declining public support and rising costs, private philanthropy is essential to ensure that Hennepin Tech continues to provide an affordable and quality education to those for whom the College is their only chance – and our community’s best hope – to build prosperity.
There are many ways to support Hennepin Tech. Whether your gift qualifies as an annual, endowed or planned gift, Hennepin Tech staff will work with you to ensure that your gift meets your own goals and financial needs while benefiting students and programs at the College. The Foundation is Hennepin Tech's tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) direct support organization which serves as the recipient and trustee of all charitable donations to Henneipn Tech.
Annual Giving
Hennepin Tech depends on annual, private gifts to maintain the strength and quality of the college as a whole. The Annual Fund combines your gift with many others to directly benefit students and the programs that support them. Your gift has the power to open doors of opportunity and change the life of a student. Every gift to the Annual Fund makes a difference. The gift is invested and the earnings are used to fulfill the purpose(s) for which the fund was created. A minimum amount of $25,000 is required to establish an endowment. Fund may be created for scholarships, equipment, or other educational purposes.
Bequest, Retirement Plans, and Gifts of Real Estate
One of the most significant ways that many alumni and friends choose to support Hennepin Tech is through their estate planning. These gifts serve as the foundation on which Hennepin Tech can continue to grow and service our community.
